Applewood Our House Assisted Living Memory Care South Lakewood

Applewood Our House caregivers provided my husband with personalized care. He was treated as an individual. They knew his likes and dislikes and accommodated those needs. Being in a house with a small number of residents makes it feel more homey than the larger facilities. I appreciate the loving care that he was provided.

Mom has been at AOH for 2.5 years now. I feel so comfortable with her being there. She is happy and I have seen how lovingly they care fore her. The food is good and a great variety is provided. There are lots of activities, both in the house and out on field trips. Family is always welcome. Her room is bright and cheery and (nearly always) immaculate. Even if she is not out of bed, she is either in clean clothes or a clean nightgown. Family is welcome to go on the field trips and when I have, I have found every resident is dressed appropriately and carefully attended to on the van and at the field trip location. Choices for field trips have been fun- butterfly pavilion or fire station museum for example. Her house only has 16 residents- it is bright and open and feels like home. Which it truly is.

Our mother was a resident of Applewood Our House (AOH) for a short while. Her time there was nothing short of great, unlike the larger assisted living facilities she felt "at home" during her time there. The staff were most attentive and my siblings and I feel blessed to have found AOH and had her cared for prior to her passing. We strongly endorse the model they have set up for senior care and quality of day to day activities, meals and accomadations.

Applewood Our House brings light to our community. They provide quality service in a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere to those they serve. The staff is caring and engaging and it shows!

I really like the atmospheres at all the property's. Whenever we are doing carpet everything seams well managed and the old folks have smiles on their faces. Wish i knew about them when my mom got to that point in her life.

When we visited Ronnie aka RD Clark the staff was wonderful and the house was lovely!

Applewood does a phenomenal job with providing top-notch facilities for their clients!

My experience with the staff has been absolutely amazing. They care so much, enjoy their jobs and put their residents need's as the top priority. So nice to think that the residents are creating new memories, having fun and being so well cared for.

Your establishment is not only comforting, but the employees care about the residents. After, carefully reviewing many long-term Alzheimer's facilities. You are definitely one of my top choices.

Applewood Our House has a very professional feeling to its homes. It is clear to me that the residents are very well taken care of and loved. I would be happy to have my mother-in-law here. I am very impressed with what I have seen so far.
