Yes! We have handicap-accessible vans complete with wheelchair-accessible lifts. Our vans provide transportation to and from the center for multiple routes serving the entire Ventura County area.

What Hours Are You Open and When Are You Closed?

Our program hours run typically from 8-2 pm with accommodations to those times as needed Monday through Friday. We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July, and New Year’s Day.

My Loved One Requires Insulin Shots During the Week and Needs a Diabetic Diet. Can You Accommodate This?

Yes, we have RNs and LVNs who are available to provide any doctor-ordered medical need required. We also have a dietician on-site to approve meal plans to meet the needs of our diabetic clients.

We provide a safe and secure environment that will be mentally, physically, and socially stimulating for your mother. Our center is spacious and allows your loved one to walk around freely while still under our staff’s supervision. Our registered nurses can administer medication.

My Husband Gives Me a Hard Time with Showers. I Need Assistance with Getting Him to Take a Shower and His Personal Hygiene. Can You Help Us?

We have specially trained staff who can ensure your loved one gets the proper hygiene assistance with our handicap-accessible showers. We are able to provide showers on a daily basis if needed. We also offer assistance in feeding and toileting as well.

We can ensure that he is picked up in the morning and taken home safely by our specially trained drivers. Drivers can also assist with transfers in the home if needed. Our unique Memory Care Unit provides a secure, therapeutic environment to meet your loved one’s needs during the day and our social workers can assist you in accessing the available community resources to help you at night and weekends.

My Parent Has Alzheimer’s and Is Not Doing Well Alone at Home. I Live Out of State. Can Your Programs Help Us?

Our social workers will work closely with you, your parent’s primary doctor, and your loved one to ensure that your loved one is safe and their needs are met. If your loved one needs assistance with medication at home or another place to live our social workers are available to help you every step of the way.

I Work Full Time and Cannot Provide Care for My Mother During the Day. Can Your Programs Help Us?

We provide transportation to and from the center and can make arrangements to be flexible for your schedule. Your loved one will have two home-cooked meals a day at our center and will have socialization opportunities, entertainment, medication provided, and assistance with showering, toileting, or feeding if necessary.

Are the Times for Pick Up and Drop Off Flexible?

We can make arrangements to accommodate your schedule. Our buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts to ensure the safest and most comfortable transportation for your loved one.
