From my humble beginnings in the Philippines to chasing the American dream, I’ve learned that determination, hard work, gratitude, drive, and focus can take you far. With family and grit by my side, I’ve achieved more than I thought possible. Two decades of serving alongside our brave U.S. military troops in Afghanistan, Wisconsin, and Romania as a DOD employee have embraced in me the values of loyalty, integrity, respect, duty, selfless service, honor, and personal courage. I’ve worked with diverse teams and learned that life’s path is unpredictable, but our response to it is what matters. I can’t choose the path because there will always be blockage, re-routes in every journey, but I can choose how I walk it – with purpose, gratitude, and heart.
