Caregivers are selected after a thorough interview process that includes multiple interviews, background checks and certifications. Once caregivers are chosen, they must complete our specific training process to ensure they understand our brand values and can deliver the high-quality care we demand for all our residents.

Assisted living is a type of care we provide at The Lodge for those who have specific needs that require support but can otherwise live independently. These needs can include medication management, going to the bathroom, dressing, eating and more.

Memory care is another type of care we offer at The Lodge for those who are living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Memory care caregivers have specialized training to provide structure and comfort to residents’ lives.

Is The Lodge like a nursing home?

No, The Lodge is not a nursing home. Nursing homes offer 24/7 medical care, and while we can provide some medical services, our team does not offer the 24/7 medical care that defines a nursing home. We also focus on creating a warm, comfortable, homelike environment and not the sterile environment of a typical nursing home.

How do you keep residents safe?

We keep residents safe by using intuitive fall-detection technology throughout the community. This tech enables falls to be immediately reported so staff can attend to the resident as soon as possible and make plans to try to prevent future falls.

What about the security of the building?

We understand that memory care residents tend to wander. While we do not seek to restrict residents, we do have a security system in place throughout the building to prevent residents from leaving without proper notice or supervision.

What is the difference between assisted living and memory care?

Assisted living residents may have physical limitations that cause them to need support, but they do not require specialized care that comes from having diseases like Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. In memory care, our caregivers have specialized training to provide the unique support those who struggle with memory need.

Quite the opposite. The goal of health management is to provide the support you need to stay independent for as long as possible. By assisting with the things that have become difficult or stressful, we free up your time and energy to focus on the activities and relationships you enjoy most.

It means that your care plan is built around your specific history, preferences, interests and needs. You are a partner in your own care, and your voice is the most important one in the conversation.

Yes, it includes medication management and care coordination. While senior living is a residential setting rather than a hospital, our teams provide significant support through senior healthcare solutions such as medication administration, wellness monitoring and coordination with your doctors to ensure your medical needs are consistently met.
