“I would strongly caution families before placing a loved one in this facility. Our experience was extremely concerning, and ultimately we had to remove our mother because we did not feel she was safe there. One of the biggest issues was the lack of staff. The facility often felt like a ghost town. Residents were left in their beds with little to no social interaction, activities, or therapy taking place. For a facility of this size, it was shocking to see how little of the space was actually being used to support the residents. There were also serious concerns about basic care and organization. At times medications were not provided when they should have been, clothing went missing, and our mother’s room was not properly maintained. There were no trash bags in the garbage, the room had not been cleaned, and at one point there was even no bed linen available. These are very basic standards that should never be overlooked. Communication was another major issue. Phones were rarely answered, and there was little information about who families should contact with questions or concerns. The website also did not work, which made it even harder to get answers. Unfortunately, several staff members we encountered were rude or dismissive, which only added to the feeling that residents and families were not a priority. We also learned from others that mice have been an issue in the facility, which raises additional concerns about sanitation and safety. My sister, who has experience with nursing homes, said this was the worst facility she has ever seen in terms of nursing home care. No family should have to feel the way we did, constantly worrying about whether their loved one is being properly cared for. Based on what we witnessed, this facility needs serious oversight and investigation by the state.”

“If you have kids start with the third floor first and then work your way around and either read or take photos. We were there at a time where it was busy but just to listen to the animal sounds and just to recall so much biblical life. It was a fascinating experience!”
