“Please do not send your loved ones to Camelot of Broussard. If you already have someone in their care, I urge you to install cameras and visit often. I feel compelled to speak out for those elderly residents who may not have someone to protect them. While at Camelot my mother received inadequate care. The verbal abuse, being left dirty for hours, falls every other day attempting to get to the restroom to change herself to CNA's refusing to help her in and out of bed are just a few of the issues. I have lots of video footage of this abuse and neglect. The level of care provided is unacceptable. Thankfully, my mother is now in a safe environment where her needs are genuinely met. Camelot of Broussard, however, continues to fall short of basic standards of care. I share my story not only to bring awareness to the issues we faced but also to urge authorities to hold such facilities accountable. I hope that, by speaking out, change can come to ensure dignity and quality care for all residents.”

“A staff who cares and wants what is best for the residence. They have wonderful activities for everyone to enjoy. The feeling is everyone genuinely cares. The facility is clean and inviting to everyone living there and families visiting.”
