  “I am sincerely appreciative of the extraordinary care that my mother received at D’Youville Senior Care. My mom was a resident in the Commodore Lane section for approximately 4 years. She had dementia and needed a skilled level of care. Two years into her stay she needed to be placed on a feeding tube along with a wound dressing changed twice a day for radiation treatments of breast cancer. Needless to say, my mom required quite a bit of work. The medical staff did it with a smile and never complained. I never worried about the safety and wellbeing of my mom while she was there. Being in the dementia section was a good experience for my mom. The staff is caring, knowledgeable and understanding of people with dementia. The staff is incredible and very extensive, including cleaning personnel, CNAs, nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists and so on. They had an abundance of daily activities to keep them occupied. Occasionally entertainers from outside would perform. No matter when I visited, frequently and unannounced, my mom was always clean and nicely dressed. Never have I detected a smell of urine on my mom or anywhere in the facility. A big thank you to D’Youville!”

  “I did a lot of research before deciding to apply to the Saab Residence for my husband and myself. Our experience here is positive as I expected, especially when my husband needed emergency help. The staff both at Saab and the D'Youville nursing home, where my husband resides now, has been very supportive. I am so happy there was a wonderful place for us when we needed it, and I appreciate the help we are continuing to receive.”
