  “Oak Crest is a senior living place with independent living, assisted living, and total care. Our lunch was at the Quarry Grill, one of several restaurants in this complex. The complex has lots of amenities for its residents including, but not limited to, a very nice indoor pool and several restaurants in each of the three club houses. All the buildings in the complex are connected by indoor walkways. Everything is wheelchair accessible. My meal in the Quarry Grill was generally good. The salmon was a bit dry, and the breading on the onion rings was too heavy. A lighter breading would taste better. My main problem with moving to this location is that they have very few places to charge electric cars. In the next ten years, there will be many elderly couples that drive electric cars and want to move to this kind of facility. They will not move to Oak Crest.”

  “My daughter had her wedding in the Garden Room and the reception in Erickson Hall - January 2023. Lauren, Corrine and the team did a fabulous job! The day went so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything! The girls had a whole room to “get ready” in and the guys had “another room.” The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun with good, hot food (or so they tell me- since I’m whole food plant based I usually bring my own food.) They do make accommodations for GF folks. We couldn’t have asked for a better day with no worries! And it didn’t break the bank!”
