“Do not send your loved ones here. My father in law has been in the hospital since January and was ready to move to a rehab facility. During his hospital stay, his blood sugar was well-controlled, never going above 230 or so. Within 30 hours of being in this facility (Oxford), he was transferred to Granville in diabetic keto acidosis (DKA) and then transferred to Duke Regional. His blood sugar was almost 700 when he reached Duke. I was there for several hours and the continuous pump he was supposed to be on wasn’t working for at least four hours and when I left they were still trying to figure it out. I know the pump wasn’t working and I suspect they were not giving him insulin due to the high blood sugar. I’ve asked for an explanation and was told I’d receive a call by 3 pm. It’s been weeks and I’ve received no follow-up. I have reported this to the state. Please read the most recent Medicare investigation report from 11/2025. They have one star with Medicare and they have been caught not giving Lantus (long lasting insulin) to a patient before. I reviewed the medication list my father in law was sent with and Lantus was on his intake forms. Also, the facility was extremely dirty. The bathroom in the picture had gas station vibes.”
