“Nice facility and except for a few BAD APPLES. One nurse and four aides, after a horrific first night! I thought WHY? Yes they are pleasant to the people with family there. But if you are alone, unbelievably horrible. I went through the a night I won’t forget!! They disconnected my call button and my cell phone. I put on my tv for light. The bed was completely saturated and so was! Nothing was working! I turned the up the volume as high as it would go to get their attention. The aide entered, I said hello can you help me? The next thing she did was slip her hand behind the curtain and unplug the tv and closed the door. I was so scared. I couldn’t call 911! I laid down and cried., and remembered the room phone, I called the operator, they answered. Thank god She connected me to security and the Supervisor in charge. They responded and both saw the condition I was in. He had both the nurse and aide come in, and they denied any wrong doing!!!! I hadn’t seen them for a week, but they were both back again. Understaffing doesn’t give you a reason to be cruel! They are in the profession. This is a true story of my experience and I would never send a loved one there! Luckily I survived and made friends I keep in touch with. And when I told one aide that I was going home,, she said YOU SEE, TOUGH LOVE! I was the patient!, True story!”

“When my mother arrived at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge, she was at one of the lowest points in her life. She had been disabled and bedridden for months. After countless doctor visits, multiple hospitalizations, and a fall that resulted in broken bones, she was transferred to Roosevelt Care Center for rehabilitation. To be honest, we were terrified. Like many families, we had heard horror stories about nursing homes and rehab facilities. Leaving my mother in an unfamiliar place when she couldn’t stand or walk on her own was one of the hardest things I've had to do. Today, I can say with complete sincerity that Roosevelt Care Center exceeded every expectation we had. Not only did they keep my mother safe, they helped her heal. One of the most emotional moments of my life happened there when I watched my mother walk for the first time in months. It is a moment I will never forget. What impressed me most was that the exceptional care extended throughout the entire facility. From the front desk staff to the doctors, nurses, aides, therapists, social workers, housekeeping team, and all the way to the discharge coordinator, every interaction was marked by professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern for my mother’s well-being. The staff treated my mother as a whole person. They addressed concerns that others had overlooked, took the time to understand her needs, and treated her with dignity, patience, and kindness every step of the way. They also went above and beyond in ways that made an enormous difference. When my mother was uncomfortable, they worked tirelessly to find solutions. When I was overwhelmed coordinating her upcoming surgery, they arranged lab work, communicated with her surgeon, and helped ensure everything was in place. For the first time in months, I felt like I had an entire team supporting both my mother and our family. I cannot fully express how grateful I am to the staff at Roosevelt Care Center. Their skill, kindness, and dedication helped restore my mother’s strength and confidence while giving our family much-needed peace of mind during an incredibly difficult time. If you are facing the difficult decision of where to send a loved one for rehabilitation, I hope this review gives you some comfort. Roosevelt Care Center provided my mother with exceptional care, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need of a rehabilitation facility. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at Roosevelt Care Center for helping my mother regain her strength and for treating her with such compassion and respect. Our family will never forget it.”
