“I didn't want to come to rehab and I have to say I don't regret staying . My first 20 mn I spent with Landa she reassured me that I was in good hands. In nursing Natalie, Jerry , the wound care team are amazing . Tracy in dietary is amazing. Alexa from recreation, Brix , Seth, Robert in PT do such a great job. I want to say thank you to the whole team . I am going home with a great experience and walking and my wounds healed. One last thing is the food sucks , its a good way to loose weight.”

“To whom it may concern, I am writing this email at about 2:30 in the morning on my approximately 10th day here at the facility. Over the past ten days I have watched the staff dealing with patients that have various physical and mental limitations. I have witnessed patients verbally, abusing staff members, and I have watched in amazement how professionally everybody that I have come in contact with has behaved. The incident that brought me here was a motorcycle accident that left me with many broken bones, but with the ability to get better and eventually be discharged. I normally don't write these type of letter, but I really feel that what I have witnessed is truly special. I never realized how difficult the healthcare field can be as this is the first time in my 62 years that I have had to spend more than a day in the hospital or in a healthcare facility. The whole experience has been quite humbling, but also left me with a renewed appreciation of the human spirit. Although I have met many many people here, I would like to specifically mention a couple of people that have been extremely attentive and made my stay as bearable as it can be considering all. Downstairs in therapy, I would like to specifically mention Brix, Maya, Joanne, and although there are too many names for me to remember, everybody in the therapy room, all seem to go above and beyond to help the patients. Upstairs on the second floor, some of the staff members who I can specifically remember the names of, Tawana, Bailey, Casandra, Libby, Hannah, Aisha, Iggy. I'm only sorry that I didn't write everybody's name down because they all deserve a special recognition for their outstanding commitment to healthcare. My daughter who is 21 years old has recently decided to enter the healthcare field and is currently finishing her college degree in Tennessee where she will be living after graduation to work at the university Medical Center. She recently got her scrubs and now I can understand how it takes a very special person to give of themselves and enter this field. I can also say that the food has been nothing short of delicious for every meal that I have had. I consider myself to be a very basic eater, who typically likes most fast food foods and typically unhealthy food, but I have thoroughly enjoyed every meal and have experienced dishes that I never would've imagined that I would have eaten. I am the type of person who is extremely open about my feelings and in my discussions with the staff, it's come to my attention that some of the patients complain about the food or the services that they are receiving here. My experience has been extremely satisfying and I am so happy that I chose the enclave from my rehab. I hope this email finds its way to the right person and that the people who are taking care of me can somehow be acknowledged for all the work that they have done. I look forward to the next couple of months of rehab and getting myself back on my feet again so I can come back here and personally shake everybody's hands that have been instrumental and getting me back to normal again. On another note, I have also witnessed patients who have been extremely abusive to the staff members for what I perceived, as no reason yet the staff has always acted professionally and responsibly. Thank you again to all the staff and for all the dedicated people who come together here at the enclave to help get their patients back to a normal life. Respectfully, Seth Goldberg”
