“Had to have an ultrasound done that was ordered by my doctor. The technician was kind, friendly, and professional but I had to wait 3 weeks for them to fax the results they should have sent themselves but I had to call myself and have them to fax them over because they weren’t going to. I needed those results weeks ago, not when it was convenient for them. If you have people waiting for results weeks after they need them maybe you should put a pause on scheduling ultrasounds. This is where the joke among the locals come in “The local band aid station.” It truly is a glorified band aid station.”

“Never been to WCCH before today but they were the only hospital that could schedule me for a follow up diagnostic mammo in a short time that wasn’t 3 months out. When I entered through the main entrance I was greeted at the front desk by a very friendly young lady who checked me in and directed me where I needed to go. Got upstairs to imaging and was again greeted by a very friendly woman who was training a new staff member. The woman acknowledged my presence and advised she’d be with me shortly. She took my information within a couple minutes and completed my check in. Approx 5 mins later I was taken back for the mammo. Followed by an ultra sound. My wait time was minimal to get through both. Imaging staff was very friendly, professional, informative, and answered every question I had. I felt like they all had a personal interest in my needs. Although I only had an experience with one section of the hospital it was a good experience. Often times small community hospitals get less than positive reviews, but I’m here to say that I would not hesitate to go back for my next followup and would highly recommend going there for imaging or diagnostic needs. I will definitely refer my family and friends. And if I did have a different need to use this hospital for any other health issue I would not hesitate. Thank you for making my experience today pleasant.”
