On October 26, 2009, Dr. D.O. performed a REVISION – TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT on me at your hospital. Prior to the surgery Dr. D.O. recommended I have health care at home after discharge from the hospital, provided by New Horizon Home Health Care, Inc. D.P., Manager, R.P., RN Case Manager, R.E., Physical Therapist from New Horizon Home Health coordinated my treatment. Since I had just had the original unsuccessful knee surgery on December 8, 2008, I was fully aware of the Home Care procedures. The personnel provided by New Horizon was far superior to ones used in the past. New Horizon’s people were always punctual, courteous and professionally knowledgeable in the performance of their duties…

L.P.H. is a fine physical therapist, and has been a tremendous help to me. His knowledge of duties plus his great personality and willingness to please make him a valuable employee for your company.

I want to give positive feedback on my nurse S.M.V., RN and physical therapist L.P.H. They were punctual and were very knowledgeable about their work. They met all of my needs as a patient and listened to all of my concerns. They both were always willing to be extra caring. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything they offered me. I am writing to let you know how happy I was with the visit of Mr. G.V., RN, last Friday... Not only did G.V. demonstrate a thorough command of his duties, but he exhibited a gentle humanity and sense of humor that had the effect of putting me immediately at ease. The hour-plus that he spent with me that morning left me with an optimistic outlook about my own recovery which continues still…

Regarding patient Mrs. J.B.: She has been stabilized on a regimen of Metformin and Prandin 1 mg before meals. The nurse M.K. from New Horizon has done a great job. She will no longer need insulin injections. I am not worried about her becoming hypoglycemic unless she stops eating.

Thanks for all New Horizon staff did for our family. We really appreciate it. Saying thanks is easy – the very hardest part is showing you the gratitude that comes right from the heart. But we hope this “Thank you very much” will show in some small way the deep appreciation this brings to you today.

I wish to commend nurse A.J. for the kind and compassionate care she has given me since I arrived home from Skyline Rehab Center. She is very knowledgeable and the care was tailor made to my needs. She is to be commended for her calm and professional demeanor.
