I’ve never met such a group of people that ever treated me better. They’ve always been kind. If you have a bad day, they’re right there. They actually genuinely care.

When I was able to go home, Gentiva was there. And I didn’t have to worry about anything. And that made me feel better.

I could not have done this without every single one of you beautiful people. Thanks so much. Dad was a lucky man to have your constant love and support. God bless.

After losing my mom suddenly just a few months ago, I definitely wasn't prepared to take on my step dad this week on hospice care at my home after he gave up after losing her. The team of angels at Gentiva has made this so peaceful and comforting by taking on so many roles to give not only my dad, but my family, ease and hope. We will get through this all together and not alone. Natalie, Donna, Patrick, Dominique, and Suni and all the others on the team, thank you for all your services and comfort. You guys are appreciated and one of a kind.

Gentiva Hospice has provided hospice for several of my close family members within the past year. During this difficult time, a lot of decisions had to be made. The nurses and staff provided great care each time. The chaplin, Pastor Don, provided great spiritual insight. We appreciated the constant reassurance and support provided by Dianna. I would definitely recommend Gentiva for families needing these services.

We cannot say enough about Gentiva Hospice for the care that they provided for my mom over the years. I hate to try to name each person because I am sure I would leave someone out, for there were many. The Social Workers, Therapists, Nurses, Aides, and the Office workers and Clergy. They were always so caring and loving to my mom and would always encourage and give us support. It takes special people to do this work and each one we had was a treasure! They became part of our family. Thank you all for everything you did!

It is one of the hardest things you can do, having to make the decision about care for a loved one, but being able to keep my father at home, in familiar surroundings where family and friends could come by and visit, was the right decision for us. Having Emerald Coast Hospice with us until he passed in November 2024, was by far the best circumstances we could have had. I want to thank all the staff at Emerald Coast Hospice Marianna for your care and kindness to my father, myself, and my family. We were truly blessed when you stepped in to take care of my dad!

A huge thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice. Hospice and the passing of a loved one is never easy, but Heidi and the team provided much needed support, respect, and compassion while my father was hospitalized. They were there for us immediately after he passed and months after to follow up. The genuine care of this team will restore your faith in humanity. I cannot thank you enough.

I would really like to say ‘thank you.’ From moment one, our care has been far beyond what you expect a hospice company to do. It’s about my dad’s total care. He knows they care about him … and that takes a lot off my mind.

We are thankful to the entire staff at New Century Hospice that walked with us as our mom took her journey home. Special recognition to our chaplain who was the voice at every visit. He literally sang some of her favorite songs with her, lifting her spirits every time.

Heartland Hospice has HEART! They are set apart by having empathy with those that they serve. Reese, Michelle and all those that work with them are angels in this field. They keep their promises and keep people first! Thank you for all you do to help our senior population and their families!

Losing my mom was the hardest thing I have ever gone through, and trying to understand what was happening … was exhausting and confusing and something I would not wish on anyone. Having our hospice nurse made such a difference that I can't imagine making it through our final moments with mom without the expectations our nurse had given us. Having someone that could educate me while also understanding the emotional wreck that I was, I will forever be grateful.

Where do I begin to let you know how wonderful each of these team members has been to us during this very difficult time? They are caring, understanding, patient, and take the time that is needed, especially when we are having a more difficult day. I also want to acknowledge our after-hours nurse, who has been here for every emergency we have encountered during our time in hospice. If you are in the need for hospice care, I highly recommend Heartland Hospice and hope that your team members are as fantastic as the team I have for Mom. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we could not have gotten through this without you.

They almost make dying fun….okay, I wouldn’t go that far, but the entire team has been nothing short of amazing during my care. Ms. Kat and Ms. Angel are the definition of what a nurse should be: caring, compassionate, and so much more. They are respectful and offer care during a most difficult time. I can’t recommend dying, but if you have to do it, why not do it with the best?

They have been with us. They take great care of my mom. I couldn’t ask for any better.
